The year is 2075. Instead of a bright and peaceful future, human civilization is in a state of polluted, dilapidated ruin akin to post-World War II Europe. A corrupt mega-corporation, Grathius Inc., controls the world by force, using pacification squads to kill any who oppose them. The game's protagonist is Flynn Haskell, the leader of a small band of terrorists/resistance-fighters determined to rid the world of Grathius and their evil schemes.

A long time ago (1837), in a galaxy far, far away (Denmark), an evil Sith Lord (Darth - sorry... Hans - Christian Anderson) wrote a tale called The Emperor's New Clothes. If you're not familiar with the story, it's about a vain ruler, obsessed with fine clothes, and more importantly, showing them off to his subjects. One day, two scoundrels decide to try and sell him a suit made of a material that appears invisible to those too stupid to see it. Naturally, the Emperor himself cannot see the suit, yet unable to admit it, to save face, allows himself to be dressed in the clothes for a parade through town. The townsfolk have all heard of the special properties of the cloth, too, so are quick to praise the finery of the Emperor's new clothes, as they too were afraid of being denounced as stupid if they admitted they could not see the cloth. It is left to a young child to point out the obvious ("But he has nothing on!"), and shake the Emperor and townsfolk from their pretension. In case you're wondering where I'm going with this opening, have patience. Star Wars is a setting accustomed to the presence of Emperors, and the moral of this fairytale is an appropriate one for this game in particular.

I'm not afraid to admit that I'm a huge Star Wars fan. What it pains me to admit, however, is that barring the release of LEGO Star Wars and Knights of the Old Republic in the last couple of years, there arguably hasn't been a truly great Star Wars game since X-Wing Alliance; or some would even argue back as far as TIE-Fighter. Indeed, RTS fans have found very little joy in the Star Wars cupboard, with barely a handful of titles being made in the genre, and either being rather unappreciated, or rather rubbish. Empire at War tries to redress this balance of the Force. However, as Master Yoda himself says, there is no try. So does Empire at War do, or do not?

Here is a method I used to install the game since CD1 wasn't reconized by my Daemon Tools.
Requirement: PowerISO.
1. Extract the game files from CD1 into any directory of your choice.
2. Press the SETUP button to begin installing.
3. During installation, you'll be asked to insert Disc 2. Since the installation is in full screen, Windows users will have to hit the Windows button to access the Daemon Tools icon. Mount Disc 2 in the drive specified on your virtual drive (example: E, F, G ect).
4. Continue the same process with the other CD's until installation is complete.
5. Select Finish when done.
NOTE: The NO-CD Crack is in the DEVIANCE folder. Copy & Paste that to the games directory you installed it.

On with the game release information:

Theatre of War 2 covers the events of 1943 in Tunisia, North
Africa. Recovering from their losses after the crushing defeat
and subsequent retreat after the Second Battle of El-Alamein,
the German Afrika Korps - reinforced and now supported by the
Italian Army - prepare once more to put steel against steel
with the Allies. The Axis forces, under the command of the
legendary General Erwin Rommel, have an all too brief
opportunity to seize victory from the clutches of their
earlier failures. Players will lead Rommels Afrika Korps in
their last full-scale military campaign and command the
English and American armies as they try to push the Axis
forces out of Africa once and for all.
The stage is set, it's time again to enter the Theatre of War

Install Notes:
1. Unpack release
2. Mount image or burn it
3. Install game
4. Run ToW2Patch110Setup.exe from the Update directory on
the DVD
5. Copy the content from the SKIDROW directory on the DVD to
your installation directory and overwrite
6. Play the game

Additional Notes:
We have decided to included the "Mission Editor Vista 64hotfix
1.1.0a Hotfix" - so you don't have to look for that. It can be
found in the Update directory on the DVD. Just copy whole
MissionEditor directory to your main installation directory
and overwrite.
